Prospero stands for Project Resource Organizing Sentience Proving Evaluations Relative Ontologically.
Prospero will explore which potential active projects in the world could contribute most to the positive future of life on Earth, and perhaps eventually beyond Earth. Its central question is where an additional dollar, hour of work, or unit of attention could produce unusually valuable gains for life.
The scope may include nonprofit programs, public-interest projects, research, policy opportunities, and potentially profitable investments when the underlying activity could create substantial benefits. The purpose would not be to make money for Lifeco. Prospero’s sole interest is finding and organizing resources toward the best available opportunities for good life growth.
Defining the optimization
Before Prospero recommends or ranks anything, it will need a transparent account of what “good life growth” means. That may include healthy years of life, wellbeing, biodiversity, ecosystem resilience, the interests of sentient beings, benefits to future life, fairness, rights, uncertainty, risk, and the additional impact created by the next unit of resources. These values cannot responsibly be collapsed into a single score until the assumptions and tradeoffs are visible and open to criticism.
Current status
Early concept and methodology design. A future agentic system is part of the vision, but the first work is human: define the objective, evaluation framework, evidence standards, safeguards, and public review process.
